This describes what our systems actually do, not what a template says. Every claim below is checkable against how the software is built.

Who we are

CreatorLift is an Ontario based business that partners with online creators to build and launch digital products. We operate creatorlift.io.

What we collect, and where it comes from

Publicly published information about creators. We find potential partners through YouTube's official public API. For a channel we may hold the name, handle, URL, subscriber and view counts, video titles and publication dates, the public channel description, and a business email address only where the creator has published one themselves.

Public audience comments. We analyse publicly visible comments on creators' videos to find recurring questions.

We deliberately do not store the names or identifiers of the people who wrote those comments. We keep what was asked. We do not keep who asked it.

Correspondence. If you email us or reply to us, we keep that correspondence.

This website. We run no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no cookies. Visiting this page tells us nothing about you.

What we do not do

Why we contact creators, and on what basis

We send commercial email under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation relying on implied consent through conspicuous publication. We contact a creator only where they published a business address publicly, where nothing alongside it declined unsolicited messages, and where our message concerns their business.

We record that evidence at the moment we collect the address: where it was published, the date, and the surrounding text. You are entitled to ask what we hold for you and we will send it.

Where someone is introduced by a mutual contact we rely on the referral exemption. That is one message only, and it names the person who referred you.

How to stop hearing from us

Every message we send carries an unsubscribe option, and you can simply reply STOP. You can also email unsubscribe@creatorlift.io from the address you want removed.

We act within one business day. The law allows ten. We do not need them.

Unsubscribing is permanent and applies across every address and domain we use. We do not re-add people, including if somebody else later refers you. A withdrawal always beats any basis we might otherwise have had.

How long we keep things

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you may ask us to tell you what we hold about you including where we got it, correct anything inaccurate, delete it subject to the suppression list exception above, or stop contacting you immediately and permanently.

Email braeden@creatorlift.io. We respond within 30 days and usually much sooner. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Where data is held

Our systems run in Canada. Some providers we rely on, including Google Workspace for email and Whop for product hosting and payments, may store data outside Canada including in the United States, where it can be subject to the laws of that country.

Security

Creator research is held in a local database on controlled hardware. Credentials live in the operating system keychain and never in code, documents or messages.

Changes

We update the date at the top when this changes. Material changes affecting people whose data we already hold will be notified by email.
